Low Wray Campsite
The National Trust campsite at Low Wray is stunning, located on the western shore of lake windermere in a mature oak woodland. Wray castle can be seen from the campsite and is only a short walk away. You can see the lake from the yurts and a beach with lake access (swimming / fishing / canoes / boats etc) is less than a minutes walk.
There are some fantastic activities to be done in the surrounding area what ever the weather. A very family friendly campsite with excellent facilities – which include :
- A Shop
- Clean toilets
- Hot showers
- Laundry, washing and drying
- Children’s adventure playground
- Washing up area with hot water on tap
- Lakeside beach launch
